Vitalacy provides different user roles to ensure that each individual has the right level of access for their responsibilities. Below is a breakdown of the available roles and the permissions included with each.
Facility Admin
The Facility Admin role offers full access and control over system features. This role is typically assigned to department heads or leadership responsible for managing user access and facility-wide performance.
Permissions include:
Role & User Management – Add, remove, and edit user roles.
Access Management – Control access to specific dashboards and reports.
Performance Dashboards – View comprehensive performance metrics for the entire facility.
Dispensers Overview – Monitor dispenser health and usage data.
User Overview – Access and analyze user performance details.
Compliance & Hand Wash Data – Track compliance scores and detailed hand hygiene activity.
Dispenser Activity Reports – Review dispenser-level activity logs.
Staff Rounding – Monitor staff rounding activities and completion rates.
Contact Tracing (Beta) – Access beta features for staff contact tracing.
SmartSensor Usage Reports – Review utilization data for sensors.
User Accounts Management – Create, edit, or deactivate user accounts.
SmartBadge Management (Beta) – Manage SmartBadge assignments and functionality.
User Permission Templates – Apply preset permission templates to streamline user setup.
Organization Management – Configure settings for the entire facility.

Admin
The Admin role is designed for managers or leads who need access to performance data and compliance metrics but do not require full system configuration control.

User Performance Dashboard – Access performance data for staff under their scope.
Compliance & Hand Wash Reports – Track compliance trends and hand hygiene events.
Dispenser Activity Monitoring – Review dispenser activity summaries.
Staff Rounding – View rounding completion reports.
Contact Tracing (Beta) – Access beta contact tracing tools.
SmartSensor Usage Reports – Monitor usage across assigned units.

Individual User
The Individual User role is intended for staff members who need visibility into their own performance only.
