How to Enable the Reports
Email Vitalacy Help:
You can submit a request to receive a report be sent to your work email address by reaching out to your facility admins or by emailing help@vitalacy.com.
Department Admin Report
As a department admin, you will receive a Compliance Report email that shows your department's data for the previous week.
Facility Metrics provides a comprehensive overview of your facility's overall compliance performance. This section displays the facility's overall compliance percentage, allowing you to easily compare your department's performance to the facility's average.
Department Metrics focuses on your department's compliance status. This gives you a snapshot view of each department's overall compliance data. By reviewing this section, you can track your department's compliance progress week by week. This data can help you identify areas where you can promote improvement and maintain consistent performance.
User Overview offers a detailed analysis of individual user performance within your department. The section all users in your department and their corresponding compliance trends. This information provides valuable insights into exemplary performance within your team.
Additionally, the User Overview section identifies users with no recorded data. This absence of data could be attributed to several factors, such as not wearing the Vitalacy Wearable device.
Individual User Report
As an individual staff member, you will receive a Compliance Report email that shows your data for the previous week.
Facility Metrics provides a comprehensive overview of your facility's overall compliance performance. This section displays the facility's overall compliance percentage, allowing you to easily compare your current performance to the facility's average.
[Name's] Metrics focuses on your individual compliance status. This gives you a snapshot view of your overall compliance data. By reviewing this section, you can track your personal compliance progress week by week. This data can help you identify areas where you can improve and maintain consistent performance.
The Daily Metrics section offers a granular view of your compliance trends on a day-by-day basis. This detailed information enables you to pinpoint specific days that may have significantly impacted your overall compliance score, either positively or negatively.
Compliance Reports for Facility Admins:
Visit the Vitalacy Web App:
To access and enable the reports within the Vitalacy Web App, you'll first need an active account. Once you've logged in successfully, follow these steps:

Pro Tip: This action is reserved for facility admins. If you are a department admin or individual user, please reach out to you facility admin or help@vitalacy.com to gain access to your compliance report.

Step 1: Locate the Accounts Section
The "Accounts" option is located in the navigation panel, as shown in the image below.
Step 2: Find the User
You can use the search option to find the user who needs the push report turned on. As a reminder, you can search the user's first or last name.
Step 3: Select Actions
Navigate to the three dots to the right of the Users page to access account actions.
Step 4: Edit the User
From here, select the 'Edit' option to view the Compliance Report dropdown options.
Step 6: Select Your Report
From here, you can select the report or reports that best fits the user you are editing. For example, a department admin that wears a Vitalacy Wearable might sign up for both the Department Admin Compliance Report and the Individual User Compliance Report to receive data summarizing their department's performance as well as their individual performance.
Facility Admin Report
As a facility admin, you will receive a Compliance Report email that shows data from the entire facility from the previous week. The report runs weekly and will pull data from the previous Monday to Sunday. For example, the report that is received Monday August 5, contains data collected from July 29 to August 4.
Facility Metrics provides a comprehensive overview of your facility's overall compliance performance. This section displays the facility's overall compliance percentage, providing a snapshot of how your facility is performing hand hygiene.
Department Summary focuses on your department's compliance status. This gives you a snapshot view of each department's overall compliance data. By reviewing this section, you can track each department's compliance progress week by week. This data can help you identify areas where you can promote improvement and maintain consistent performance.
The final section (labeled "Acute Rehabilitation" in the image above), provides a summary of all organizations alphabetically. This information provides valuable insights into exemplary performance within your team. Additionally, this section identifies users with no recorded data. This absence of data could be attributed to several factors, such as not wearing the Vitalacy Wearable device.
Selecting "Full report"
Selecting "Full report" from any section of your Compliance Report email will automatically redirect you to the corresponding detailed report within the Vitalacy Web App.
For instance, if you choose "Full report" in the Daily Metrics section, a new webpage will open, displaying your individual compliance data in a comprehensive report format. This allows you to access more in-depth information and analyze your performance in greater detail.
Key Terms:
- Compliance: Compliance is based on the total number of compliant hand wash events divided by the number of opportunities.
- Compliant Events: This number shows how many times staff members successfully washed their hands before entering or exiting a patient care area within the expected timeframe.
- Total Events: This is the overall number of room entries and room exits performed by staff, regardless of whether they washed their hands.
- Active Users: The total number of users that are generating compliance data. The number on the left of the fraction shows how many users have data, while the number on the right of the fraction shows total users that were expected to generate data.
- Wash Duration: If your facility uses Vitalacy's SmartBand, this metric will show you the average time that a staff member spent cleaning their hands with soap or sanitizer before entering or exiting a patient care area.
