The Facility Compliance Report provides admins with a comprehensive view of hand hygiene performance across one or more facilities. This report summarizes compliance, staff activity, and hand hygiene opportunities, allowing leaders to quickly identify trends and compare performance across locations.
The report can be viewed directly in the Vitalacy Web App or exported for additional analysis.
Accessing the Facility Compliance Report
- Log in to the Vitalacy Web App.
- From the left navigation menu, select Reports.
- Choose Facility Compliance Report.
- Select the desired:
- Organization(s)
- Date Range
- The report will automatically refresh with the selected data.
Summary Metrics
At the top of the report are three summary cards that provide an overview of performance.
Compliance
Displays overall hand hygiene compliance for the selected organizations and date range.

| Total | Overall compliance percentage across all selected organizations. |
| Average | Average compliance percentage of the selected organizations. |
| Total Organizations | Number of organizations included in the report. |
Activity
Displays staff engagement with the system.

| Average Rate | Average staff activity rate across the selected organizations. |
| Total Activated Users | Number of staff members activated within the selected organizations. |
| Users With Opportunities | Number of activated users who had at least one recorded hand hygiene opportunity during the selected date range. |
Opportunities
Displays overall hand hygiene opportunity data.

Facility Performance Table
The table provides a detailed breakdown of performance for each facility or location.

| Compliance % | Percentage of hand hygiene opportunities completed successfully. |
| Total Opportunities | Total number of recorded hand hygiene opportunities. |
| Total Compliant Events | Number of compliant hand hygiene events recorded. |
| Activated Users | Number of activated users assigned to the facility. |
| Users with Opportunities | Number of activated users who generated at least one opportunity during the selected date range. |
| Activity Rate | Percentage of activated users who recorded at least one hand hygiene opportunity. |
Sorting Data
Most columns in the report can be sorted.
To sort the report:
- Select the column header.
- Click again to reverse the sorting order.
This allows you to quickly identify:
- Highest or lowest compliance
- Facilities with the most opportunities
- Most active departments
- Areas with lower staff engagement
Exporting the Report
The Facility Compliance Report can be exported for sharing or additional analysis.
To export:
- Select Export in the upper-right corner.
- Choose one of the available formats:
- Excel (.xlsx)
- CSV
The exported report will reflect the currently selected organizations and date range.
Best Practices
For the most meaningful insights:
- Review compliance trends regularly.
- Compare departments to identify high-performing areas.
- Monitor Activity Rate to ensure staff are actively participating.
- Use exported reports during leadership meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation preparation.
- Filter by date range to evaluate improvement efforts over time.
