How is your staff doing?
The 'User Performance' report is the best place to view and analyze your staff's scores and data.
Getting to the User Performance report
1. To access the 'User Performance Report', click on the 'Reports' icon and open the dashboard menu by clicking on the top left corner of the title page.
2. Select 'User Performance' under the 'Reports' section.
Using the User Performance Report
This report provides your staff's compliance score, usage, opportunities and compliant events for individuals corresponding to your designated organizations.
To personalize your view, you can apply filters based on the Organization, Profession, and Location.
Utilizing Filters
Organization:
To view information about a specific organization in our system, select the organization from the first dropdown menu. Organizations are defined as Hospitals, Units, or Departments (i.e., Respiratory Care, Phlebotomy, NICU, etc.). As an administrator at your facility, you’ll be able to see only the department(s) that you are responsible for when selecting the ‘Organization’ () dropdown at the top left of the page. Once you’ve selected the organization the page will refresh, showing new data for that selection.
Profession:
The Profession option allows you to only see the data for staff members listed in the selected profession. Once you click on ‘Profession’ ( ), you will be able to search for the job title that you are responsible for. Again, the page will refresh and show you new data based on your selections.

Pro Tip: Our site has recently been updated to only show the professions available inside your organization. Don’t see the profession that you’re looking for? Let us know by emailing help@vitalacy.com.

Location:
Do you have staff members that work on multiple units? That’s where the ‘Location’ dropdown can help. By selecting the ‘Location’ () dropdown, you can be sure to see all of the units that your selected ‘Organization’ or department visit. This allows you to compile all compliant data for staff members who visit multiple departments.
Calendar Date Range Selector:
One of the most important data points is Date. The date range option () allows you to only see the data that came in during your selected range. This is a key to finding the most accurate trends in each category. You can see exactly how your facility data fluctuates on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis.

Pro Tip: When making your selections, it is important to confirm that the selected date range is accurate based on your preference, as this can affect the report's outcome.

Viewing Users With No Data
Under this icon, you can also choose to display users without data within the date range selected. This is a good way to ensure all user data, even those without compliant events, is captured.
Analyzing User Data
This report can be used to monitor a user's:
- Usage
- Compliance
- Compliant events
- Opportunities
When evaluating a user's performance, we consider all relevant factors. For instance, a user with 2 compliant events out of 2 opportunities may have 100% compliance. However, another user with 20 compliant events out of 40 opportunities can be equally impressive, particularly when considering the department they belong to (for example, 50% compliance for an ER Physician).
*The national compliance rate for hand hygiene is approximately 40%. For more information, please click here.
If you hover over and click on a specific user on the far left, it will take you directly to the Compliance Report for a more detailed breakdown of the User's Compliance.
For more details regarding how overall compliance is calculated, click here.
On this page, there are several indicators that are used to determine a user's performance. Double-click each performance indicator to toggle and sort the section that best fits your needs.
For example, if you would like to see staff's overall compliance filtered by highest to lowest, simply double-click compliance.
